Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36
Elegance reimagined
Rolex presents a new Oyster Perpetual 36 in Oystersteel with a highly graphic, colourful dial featuring a Jubilee motif formed from the letters of the Rolex name.
Recalling the brand’s aesthetic heritage, this motif is a remarkable technical achievement. Its distinctive radiance celebrates Rolex creativity and the brand’s tradition of dial-making expertise.
Dial
A graphic, colourful motif
The Oyster Perpetual 36 dial offers a subtle and resolutely modern interpretation of the Jubilee motif introduced in the late 1970s. The letters of the Rolex name emerge through contrasts combining ten colours. Each colour is applied in sequence, demanding extreme precision to align every form and letter perfectly.
Oystersteel
An exclusive alloy
The new Oyster Perpetual 36 is crafted from Oystersteel. Made exclusively for Rolex, this alloy has a unique sheen and belongs to the 904L steel family. Alloys of this kind are used in advanced technology, aerospace and the chemical industry, and offer corrosion resistance comparable with precious metals.
Oyster case
A symbol of waterproofness
The Oyster case of the Oyster Perpetual 36 is waterproof to 100 metres. Its middle case is crafted from a solid block of Oystersteel and topped by a domed bezel. The case back and Twinlock winding crown screw down securely, while the anti-reflective sapphire crystal is highly scratch resistant.
Oyster bracelet
Legendary and robust
Developed in the late 1930s, the Oyster bracelet comprises three rows of broad, slightly curved links. On the Oyster Perpetual 36 it combines robustness, comfort and elegance. Its Oysterclasp and Easylink extension allow the bracelet to be lengthened by approximately 5 mm.
Calibre 3230
A technical masterpiece
The Oyster Perpetual 36 is equipped with calibre 3230, entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. Its blue Parachrom hairspring and Chronergy escapement enhance precision, self-winding efficiency, convenience and reliability. The power reserve is approximately 70 hours.
Superlative Chronometer
Certification
The Oyster Perpetual 36 carries the Superlative Chronometer certification, confirming exceptional everyday performance under independent monitoring.
Since 2026, the certification also covers resistance to magnetic fields, reliability and durability. After casing, the movement must achieve an accuracy of −2/+2 seconds per day.
The green seal symbolises this status and is coupled with an international five-year guarantee.
