Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41
Echoes of the origins
To honour the anniversary of the Oyster, Rolex presents the Oyster Perpetual 41 in yellow Rolesor, celebrating 100 years of watchmaking achievements while carrying the spirit of its origins into the future.
The Oyster Perpetual 41 appears in a new configuration that expresses the essence of a Rolex watch with strength, simplicity and elegance. Its yellow Rolesor construction combines a yellow gold bezel and winding crown with an Oystersteel case and bracelet. These gold accents recall details found on some of the earliest Oyster watches.
Yellow Rolesor
A combination of alloys
A Rolex signature since the early 1930s, Rolesor combines gold and steel in a meeting of refinement and strength. The principle is simple: selected case and bracelet components are made of yellow, white or Everose gold, while the others are crafted from Oystersteel.
The Oyster Perpetual 41 offers a new interpretation of this aesthetic concept. It combines a yellow gold bezel and winding crown with a bracelet made entirely of Oystersteel, whereas yellow Rolesor watches traditionally feature yellow gold centre links.
Slate dial
Celebrating the Oyster’s 100th anniversary
The slate dial introduces a shade never before seen in the Oyster Perpetual range. At 6 o’clock, where the words “Swiss Made” usually appear, it displays “100 years”. Green square markers highlight every five-minute interval, while the Rolex name is pad-printed in the same legendary brand colour.
Oyster case
A symbol of waterproofness
The Oyster case of the Oyster Perpetual 41 is guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres. Its middle case is crafted from a solid block of Oystersteel and topped by a domed bezel. The finely fluted case back is hermetically screwed down with a special tool reserved for authorised watchmakers. A Twinlock winding crown with a double waterproofness system screws securely against the case. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal has an anti-reflective coating, and the crown bears the number “100” in relief.
Oyster bracelet
Legendary and robust
Developed at the end of the 1930s, the Oyster bracelet is available across the Oyster Perpetual range. This robust, comfortable and elegant metal bracelet consists of three rows of broad, slightly curved links. On the Oyster Perpetual 41 it is fitted with an Oysterclasp and the Easylink comfort extension link, allowing the bracelet to be lengthened by approximately 5 mm for immediate comfort.
Calibre 3230
A technical masterpiece
The Oyster Perpetual 41 is equipped with calibre 3230, a movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. This self-winding mechanical movement incorporates a blue Parachrom hairspring and Chronergy escapement, delivering enhanced precision, self-winding efficiency, convenience and reliability. Its barrel architecture and highly efficient escapement provide a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
Superlative Chronometer
Certification
The Oyster Perpetual 41 carries the Superlative Chronometer certification. Awarded to every watch after it leaves the manufacture, this exclusive designation confirms exceptional everyday performance under strict monitoring by independent, internationally recognised Swiss bodies.
In 2026, three criteria were added to the Superlative Chronometer certification: resistance to magnetic fields, reliability and durability. They complement precision, waterproofness, self-winding and power reserve. After casing, the movement must achieve an accuracy of −2/+2 seconds per day.
The green seal accompanying every Rolex watch symbolises its Superlative Chronometer status and is coupled with an international five-year guarantee.
