Rolex presents an unprecedented version of the Oyster Perpetual Datejust 41 in white Rolesor (a combination of Oystersteel and white gold), distinguished by an elegant green lacquer Ombré dial.
It brings together some of the brand’s most characteristic attributes in perfect harmony: the fluted bezel, the colour green, the robustness of steel and the preciousness of white gold.
Ombré dial in green lacquer
For this new version of the Datejust 41, the colour is achieved entirely through lacquering – a first since Ombré dials returned to the brand’s catalogue in 2019. The base of this new dial is created by applying green lacquer, and the gradient effect is then produced, as with all Ombré dials, by spraying concentric layers of black lacquer. The white inscriptions stand out beautifully against it, and the dial is adorned with Chromalight hour markers. The clarity of the date window is further enhanced by the contrast with the dial’s Ombré edge, like an invitation to make an appointment to take a fresh look at this iconic watch, a milestone in the history of the Oyster.
Fluted bezel
An iconic signature
The fluted bezel is crafted exclusively from precious metal. Before becoming a purely aesthetic feature of classic Rolex watches, the fluting allowed watchmakers to screw the bezel onto the Oyster case, helping to ensure the watch’s waterproofness.
White Rolesor
A combination of alloys
A Rolex signature since the early 1930s, Rolesor combines gold and steel in a meeting of refinement and strength. The principle is simple: selected case and bracelet components are made of yellow, white or Everose gold, while the others are crafted from Oystersteel. On white Rolesor models, only the bezel is made of white gold.

Legendary and robust
The Oyster Perpetual Datejust 41 in white Rolesor, with its green lacquer Ombré dial and fluted bezel, is fitted with an Oyster bracelet. Developed at the end of the 1930s, this three-piece link bracelet is renowned for its robustness. It is fitted with a folding Oysterclasp and the brand’s comfortable Easylink extension, allowing the bracelet to be lengthened easily by approximately 5 mm.
Calibre 3235
A technical masterpiece
The Datejust 41 is equipped with calibre 3235, a movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. This self-winding mechanical movement with date function features a blue Parachrom hairspring and the Chronergy escapement, delivering enhanced performance in terms of precision, self-winding efficiency, convenience and reliability. Thanks to the architecture of its barrel and the higher efficiency of its escapement, calibre 3235 offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
Superlative Chronometer
Certification
The Oyster Perpetual Datejust 41 carries the Superlative Chronometer certification. Awarded to every watch after it leaves the manufacture, this exclusive designation confirms exceptional everyday performance under strict monitoring by independent, internationally recognised Swiss bodies.
In 2026, three criteria were added to the Superlative Chronometer certification: resistance to magnetic fields, reliability and durability. These criteria are monitored throughout the development and manufacturing process of every watch, during which hundreds of checks and validations are carried out that directly affect the watch’s performance. They complement the criteria introduced when the certification was redefined in 2015: precision, waterproofness, self-winding and power reserve. That year, Rolex also created an exclusive testing protocol carried out on the fully assembled watch, using fully automated equipment developed in-house. The requirements for precision are particularly demanding: after casing, the movement’s accuracy must be within −2/+2 seconds per day, a tolerance far stricter than the threshold required for official chronometer certification, which applies only to the movement.
The green seal fitted to every Rolex watch attests to Superlative Chronometer status, which is coupled with an international five-year guarantee.
