This Professional-category watch masterfully combines functionality and nautical style, performing with effortless elegance both at sea and on land.
A distinctive bezel
The Yacht-Master is easily recognised by its bidirectional rotatable bezel with a 60-minute graduation, crafted entirely in precious metal – Everose gold or platinum. It is also available with a black Cerachrom insert in high-technology ceramic. The polished raised graduations and numerals stand out clearly against the matt background. Allowing the wearer to read a sailing time, such as the interval between two buoys, this functional bezel is essential to the watch’s unique character.
Exclusive materials
Robust, precise and perfectly waterproof, the Yacht-Master is the only Rolex Professional watch offered in several diameters: 37, 40 and 42 mm.
The Yacht-Master 37 and Yacht-Master 40 are available in Rolesium, combining Oystersteel and platinum, and in Everose Rolesor, combining Oystersteel and Everose gold, with a precious-metal bezel and Oyster bracelet. Both models are also offered in 18 ct Everose gold with a black ceramic Cerachrom insert and an Oysterflex bracelet.
The Yacht-Master 42 is available in 18 ct yellow or white gold with an Oysterflex bracelet, and in RLX titanium – a particularly lightweight alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength – with an Oyster bracelet.
Chromalight display
The Yacht-Master remains highly legible in all conditions, even in the dark, thanks to its Chromalight display: its large hour markers and broad hands are filled or coated with a luminescent material that emits a long-lasting blue glow.
Calibre 2236 and calibre 3235
Yacht-Master models are equipped with calibre 2236 for the Yacht-Master 37 or calibre 3235 for the Yacht-Master 40 and Yacht-Master 42. These self-winding mechanical movements are entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex and offer enhanced precision, power reserve, convenience and reliability. Calibre 2236 provides approximately 55 hours of power reserve, while calibre 3235 offers approximately 70 hours.
Superlative Chronometer certification
The Yacht-Master carries the Superlative Chronometer certification. This exclusive designation, awarded to every watch after it leaves the manufacture, confirms its exceptional performance on the wrist. The in-house certification is strictly monitored by independent, internationally recognised Swiss bodies.
The green seal accompanying every Rolex watch symbolises its Superlative Chronometer status and is coupled with an international five-year guarantee.
