The bracelet flows seamlessly into the case, creating a harmonious aesthetic.
The clean, bold design houses calibre 7135, a movement distinguished by groundbreaking innovations. Slimmer than most Rolex movements, it beats at a high frequency of 5 hertz and delivers exceptional performance.
Calibre 7135
A high-frequency movement
Entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex, this movement beats at 5 hertz, or 36,000 vibrations per hour, enabling time to be measured to one tenth of a second. Through the transparent case back, the cut-out yellow gold oscillating weight and Rolex Côtes de Genève decoration can be admired.
Calibre 7135
Dynapulse escapement
The Dynapulse escapement is a revolutionary alternative to the traditional Swiss lever escapement. This sequential distribution escapement consists largely of silicon components, making it exceptionally light, insensitive to magnetic fields and considerably more efficient than a traditional escapement.
Calibre 7135
State-of-the-art oscillator
The oscillator features a patented balance staff made from laser-shaped high-technology ceramic, an optimised brass balance wheel and a silicon Syloxi hairspring. An optimised Paraflex shock absorber improves shock resistance, while its materials withstand strong magnetic fields.
Flat Jubilee bracelet
One with the case
Created specifically for the Land‑Dweller, the Flat Jubilee bracelet reinterprets the integrated bracelet with a smooth line between case and bracelet. Flat links, polished centre links, satin-finished outer links and polished bevels reinforce the watch’s harmonious design.
Dial
Honeycomb motif
The graphic dial features a honeycomb motif created with a high-technology laser and finished using traditional satin or sunray techniques. Open numerals, hour markers and specially designed Chromalight hands ensure optimal legibility, while the seconds hand counterweight recalls a honeycomb cell.
Superlative Chronometer certification
The Land‑Dweller 40 and Land‑Dweller 36 carry the Superlative Chronometer certification. Following COSC certification, Rolex tests each fully assembled watch according to its own criteria, achieving an accuracy of –2/+2 seconds per day.
The green seal symbolises Superlative Chronometer status and is coupled with an international five-year guarantee.
